Steps to bringing home a Springdale Labradoodles Puppy:

1. Application Process & Interview
Complete our Puppy Application with information about your:
    - Home environment
    - Experience with dogs
    -  Activity level
    - Schedule and availability
    - Preferences (color, coat, size, & temperament)
Screening process:
    -  Interview (by phone) We want to get to know you and you us! We welcome the opportunity to answer all of your questions and have open transparency about our puppies and program.
   - Reserve your puppy: After our interview process, we will send you an approval with the details and link to submit your reservation fee of $500 to join your preferred litter.

 2. Your litter has arrived! Next steps:
- Puppy birth announcements will be sent to you via email when your puppy is 1 week old. This allows us time to ensure all puppies are healthy and thriving before offering the families a spot on the litter.
-We request you confirm, via a return email response, your commitment to the litter, the puppies and the estimated go home date within 24 hours.
 - If the puppies offered do not align with your personal preferences or scheduled go home date, you may defer to a future available litter and your reservation fee will be moved to that litter.

3. After Litter Confirmed next steps:
We send weekly emails from week 2-7 to share our puppy raising process including specific details we are using each week in our puppy raising curriculum. We are passionate about educating our puppy families on raising your puppy with the most holistic and natural approach. We aim to give you the necessary tools and knowledge to advocate for your puppy for its longest and happiest life!
- We will request your family to complete a short family “Bio” questionnaire and email it back to us, so we can have the best detailed information about your family to share with our trainer during temperament testing and puppy matching.
- Final Payment of $3000 is due when your puppy turns 6 weeks old and prior to puppy matching.

4. Understanding the Puppies -We place a strong focus on Temperament
• Our Certified Professional Trainer conducts Volhard Puppy Aptitude temperament testing when the puppies are 7 weeks old.
    - Temperament (shy, bold, independent, cuddly)
    - Energy level
    - Socialization & Desensitization progress

 5. Puppy Matching
Our puppy matching process ensures we pair a puppy with the right family based on lifestyle, temperament, and needs. After temperament testing is completed by our certified trainer at 7 weeks old, we will ask your family to list your top 4 favorite puppies in the litter in order of visual and personal preference match (color, coat, gender, size). Puppy Matches are then made based on temperament test results to match:
   - Family lifestyle vs. puppy’s needs
   - Family composition (kids, other pets)
   - Experience level (some pups need more experienced handlers)
   - Desired activity (companion vs. hiking buddy vs. therapy dog potential)

Our #1 Goal is your overwhelming happiness and joy! We are always hopeful to match a puppy in your top 4 preferences. This process also allows us to manage the matching process so no family on the litter has “last pick” or no choice in their puppy match. It’s a win for you and for your puppy!

6. Meeting your Puppy
• After Temperament testing and matching is completed at 7 weeks old, we will call you to introduce your puppy to your family. We are happy to FaceTime you or meet on Zoom to introduce your new baby to the family.
• Puppy Go Home Day will be scheduled when your puppy is 8 weeks old! You may pick up your puppy at our home or we offer delivery options for families that prefer we bring your puppy to you!

7. Final Steps required at 7 weeks old after puppy matching.
   - Contract signing (includes adoption contract & health guarantee, and spay/neuter agreements.)
   -  Take-home day and time schedule confirmation.
   -  Puppy go home information provided (feeding schedule, training tips, vaccination schedule, crate training schedule & potty training schedule)

We have had over 12 wonderful years of happy families and happy puppies with our puppy matching process. We look forward to speaking to your family soon!
